OUR INTERIM PRESIDENT
SHADRICK H. SMALL
Mr. Shadrick Small and his family has been associated with the Black Families Association for many years. Mr. Shad has kindly agreed to a “temporary assignment” as interim president.
Mr. Shadrick Small is employed by the Oakland Housing Authority, where he serves as a Development Program Manager in the Office of Real Estate Development.
Mr. Shadrick Small is an Air Force and HUD “veteran,” with nearly 19 years of combined service. He previously served as the City of Concord Director of Housing and Community Services and, prior to that, as one of its Planning Commissioners, when he and his family resided in Concord.
He and his wife, Cheryl, currently reside in Lafayette. They are the proud parents of a daughter who now lives and works in Las Vegas, Nevada, and a son, who is a graduate from the University of California at Berkeley.
